- This one. Keys Weekly Events is the calendar run by Keys Weekly, the local newspaper that's been covering the Keys since 1999. It includes every public event from Key Largo down to Key West. An editor reviews every submission before it goes up, which is why you won't see spam, dead reposts, or events from 200 miles away.
- What's happening in the Florida Keys this weekend?
- Hit the This Weekend filter at the top of the page. That pulls every confirmed event from Friday morning through Sunday night, sorted by date. New submissions usually show up within a day, after an editor signs off.
- How do I submit an event?
- Free submissions go through /submit/free. Capped at 200 characters, no photo, but they're free and they work. If you want photos, a ticket link, a longer description, or actual placement on the homepage, that's the paid path at /submit/full. Rates are on /advertise.
- Which regions does the calendar cover?
- Five regions, north to south by mile marker. Key Largo and the Upper Keys (MM 90 to 113), Islamorada (71 to 90), Marathon (47 to 71), Big Pine and the Lower Keys (9 to 47), and Key West (0 to 9). Every event gets tagged to one of them, so you can filter by where you are or where you're headed.
