Find water sports events across the Florida Keys
Water sports events in the Florida Keys are mostly dive-related, but the calendar is wider than that. The Underwater Music Festival at Looe Key Reef in July is the most famous. John Pennekamp runs reef-dive events and underwater clean-ups year-round. Key West has a steady stream of fishing tournaments, paddleboard races, and the Swim Around Key West in June. Islamorada hosts kayak fishing tournaments and SUP races. Add in turtle-watch programs at the various state parks and you've got events on the water nearly every weekend in season.
