Key West Food & Wine Festival
The Key West Food & Wine Festival is five days of eating and drinking your way across the island: walking wine strolls down Duval, chef dinners in historic houses, themed tastings and a Grand Tasting finale. It runs January 27 through 31, 2027, square in the middle of the Keys' best weather.
It is not a festival you wander into. Every event is ticketed, 21 and up, and sold in advance, with most selling out. Tickets for 2027 go on sale September 30, 2026, and the popular strolls go quickly.

The events worth planning around
The schedule changes some every year, but the anchors hold. Duval Uncorked is the signature: a self-paced stroll down Duval Street with about thirty pour-and-bite stops in galleries, shops and bars, usually around $65. The Grand Tasting at the Audubon House gardens is the blowout finale at about $325. In between sit dozens of smaller tastings and dinners in the $50 to $150 range, including a featured Oaxaca spirits component in 2027.

Booking the trip
Late January is peak season in Key West, and festival week stacks on top of it. Rooms in Old Town book out four to six months ahead at full winter rates, so lock lodging when you buy tickets, not after. The reward is the weather: mid-70s, dry, breezy, the exact conditions the strolls were designed for.
How it started
The festival launched in 2010 as a local effort to show off the island's food scene beyond conch fritters and happy hour. It has grown into a full winter-season fixture run with local restaurants, galleries and inns, which is why so many events happen inside actual Key West businesses instead of a tent.
