Gigantic Nautical Flea Market

February 20 and 21, 2027 Islamorada, Florida

If you own a boat, fish, dive or just like a deal, the Gigantic Nautical Flea Market is the weekend to be in Islamorada. More than 400 vendors spread across Founders Park selling rods, reels, tackle, electronics, dive gear, marine hardware, art, clothing and boats themselves. Some of it is new, some used, most of it priced to move.

The market runs Saturday, February 20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, February 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 2027, at Founders Park, mile marker 87 bayside. It has been going for more than three decades, and the Upper Keys Rotary puts every dollar of proceeds into scholarships for local students.

What you will find

This is the biggest marine swap of the year in the Keys. Charter captains restock tackle. Sailors hunt hardware. Divers pick through regulators and fins. There is a full boat show alongside the vendor rows, with new and brokerage boats on display. Even if you have no boat, the food vendors, art and general treasure-hunt energy make it a good Saturday.

Prices drop as the weekend winds down. If you can gamble on the good stuff being gone, Sunday afternoon is when vendors start marking things down rather than hauling them home.

Parking and getting in

Do not try to park at Founders Park. Event parking is at Coral Shores High School at mile marker 89.9, with a free shuttle running to the gate. US 1 backs up in both directions on Saturday morning, so leave earlier than feels necessary, especially if you are coming from Key Largo or Marathon.

  • Β· Admission is $5 cash for anyone 17 and older. Bring small bills.
  • Β· Cash is king at the vendor tables too, and it helps when haggling.
  • Β· Go Saturday morning for selection, Sunday afternoon for markdowns.
  • Β· Bring a cart or a big bag if you plan to buy heavy gear. The rows are long.

The cause behind it

The market is run by the Rotary Club of the Upper Keys, and the gate money funds college scholarships for Monroe County students. It is one of the biggest scholarship engines in the Upper Keys, which is part of why the whole community shows up to work it, shop it or both.
