Information we collect

• Event submissions. When you submit an event, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, organization, and the event's description, dates, location, links, and images.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site.
• Favorites. Events you save as favorites are stored locally in your browser. They are not sent to or stored on our servers.

How we use information

• To review, publish, and display submitted events.
• To respond to advertising inquiries and contact you about your submission.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.

How information is shared

Information you submit for an event listing is published publicly once approved. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us operate the site (Supabase for the database, Netlify for hosting, Google Analytics for usage measurement, Web3Forms for form delivery), and where required by law.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have submitted by contacting us (see below). We will respond within a reasonable time.

Data retention

We keep event submission data for as long as needed to operate the calendar and respond to you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
